Rubber resurfacing for steps and walkways bonds a slip-resistant rubber surface directly over the concrete you already have. Chipped edges come back as clean lines, the flaking stops, and you get sure footing from the front door to the sidewalk in January. Nothing is torn out or re-formed. The colour runs all the way through, every edge is 100% hand-troweled, and most jobs are done in about a day.
Poured rubber is a blend of recycled rubber and colour granules, hand-troweled over your existing steps and walkway. It handles chipped and rounded step edges, spalling and flaking treads, salt-damaged surfaces, stained walkway slabs, and smooth-troweled finishes that get slick when wet.

You can walk on the new surface after 24 hours and it reaches full cure after three days. We install from March through September, weather permitting: no snow on the ground, and overnight temperatures above freezing.

Versus pavers or stone overlays: anything laid in pieces can settle and shift when prairie ground moves. Poured rubber is one seamless surface that flexes with the ground instead of opening up joints.
Versus paint or a coating: a coating sits on top and wears off the high-traffic spots. Rubber is a thick troweled surface with the colour running through it, so wear does not show as a bald patch.
