Commercial Rubber Surfacing in Regina

Cracked concrete at a business entrance says something you do not want said, and the lips and spalled patches that come with it are trip hazards for every customer who walks in. Commercial rubber surfacing covers entrances, walkways, breezeways, atriums, and shared outdoor spaces with a slip-resistant, seamless rubber surface, installed directly over the existing concrete with no demolition. Most areas take about a day of work and can be walked on the next, so your doors barely notice we were there. We are based in Regina and take commercial projects across Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.

What it covers

Poured rubber is a blend of recycled rubber and colour granules, hand-troweled over existing concrete or asphalt as one continuous surface. For commercial properties that means cracked and spalled entrance slabs, walkways with lips and uneven joints, stained high-traffic concrete, slick smooth-troweled finishes, and tired shared spaces like atriums and breezeways.

What it cannot fix: a slab that has structurally failed: badly heaved, sunken, or broken through. We assess that during the site visit and tell you straight, because a surface over a failed slab helps nobody.

How the install goes

  1. Site assessment. We look at the areas, the traffic patterns, and the condition of the concrete, and plan the sequence with you.
  2. Clean and prep. We pressure-clean and profile the surface so the rubber bonds properly.
  3. Prime. We prime the substrate so the rubber grips.
  4. Pour and trowel. We hand-trowel and pack the rubber across the area in your chosen colour blend.
  5. Cure. Walkable after 24 hours, full cure at three days.
  6. Walkthrough. We walk the finished area with you before sign-off.

Install season runs March through September, weather permitting: no snow on the ground and overnight temperatures above freezing.

How it compares

Versus replacing the concrete: replacement closes the area for days and puts a rigid new slab into the same freeze and thaw that broke the last one. Rubber goes over the top in about a day, and people walk on it the next.

Versus patching: patches are a repeating line item. They mismatch, they wear at the edges, and the underlying cracking keeps moving. One seamless flexible surface deals with the whole area at once.

Versus coatings: thin coatings wear through fast under constant foot traffic. Rubber is a thick troweled surface with the colour through its full depth, and worn or damaged spots can be repaired without redoing the area.

Commercial questions

How long is our entrance out of use?

Most areas take about a day of work and can be walked on 24 hours later, with full cure at three days. We plan the work with you so the disruption to customers and staff stays as small as possible.

What kinds of commercial spaces do you surface?

Entrances, storefront walkways, breezeways, atriums, and shared outdoor spaces. If it is existing concrete or asphalt that people walk on, it is likely a candidate.

Do you travel for commercial projects?

Yes. We are based in Regina and take commercial work across Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. Tell us where the property is and we will let you know what makes sense.

Can a damaged high-traffic section be repaired later?

Yes, and this is one of the biggest advantages for a business. Damaged spots can be spot-repaired without redoing the whole area, and because the colour runs through the rubber, a repair blends in instead of standing out.

Does it hold up to constant foot traffic?

It is built for it. The surface is 100% hand-troweled and packed, the colour runs all the way through so wear does not show as a bald grey patch, and the work is backed by our 3 year warranty.
